Introduction to Poliran

Poliran was established in the early 1971s with the motivation to transform the production of polymer pipes and fittings and expand them in the agricultural and construction sectors of the country.

Today, over 50 years later, Poliran, with four advanced manufacturing units in the industrial area of Jajrud, Tehran, and nearly 1,000 active personnel, stands as the largest and most reputable producer of polymer pipes and fittings in the country. As a leading and innovative manufacturer in both the agricultural and construction sectors, we have consistently had a significant presence in major national projects.

Leveraging the knowledge and expertise of our local specialists, along with the use of state-of-the-art equipment and technologies, Poliran has played an important role in national production. With this foundation, we provide competitive products that meet international standards and have been proudly used in European countries, including Germany, and neighboring nations.

In the construction sector, Poliran ‘s research and development unit continuously monitors global innovations and advancements. In 2003, we transferred the technology for manufacturing polypropylene push-fit drainage systems from Germany to Iran, introducing it for the first time to the engineering community and construction industry of the country. This milestone has led to a significant transformation and remarkable progress in this field.

In the irrigation, agriculture, and water supply sectors, Poliran aims to actively participate in combating the water scarcity crisis. We adopt a strategy of systematic consumption management and savings, alongside providing innovative drip irrigation solutions. We produce pipes and fittings specifically designed for pressurized irrigation networks, drip irrigation pipes, and perforated irrigation tapes based on cutting-edge technology aligned with national and international standards.

We must move towards privatization that leads to competition, and competition that leads to quality with all our might. Our industries should not be followers; instead, we should foster creativity and innovation ourselves.”
