Gated Trap+ Special Clamp

Problem

Clogging of traps is one of the main issues that arise during the construction of building projects and often becomes apparent during or after the building’s operation. Conditions at the construction site, carelessness during construction operations, and the spilling of materials and debris into the drainage building system cause severe blockages. Before the invention of Poliran’s Gate Trap, clearing these blockages was very difficult and costly. Previously, contractors had to use improper methods, such as probing with rebar, which often damaged the trap and required replacement—an operation that involved demolition, time, and high costs.

Experience has also shown that unusual blockages are highly likely in special facilities, such as hospitals or hotels, where clearing these blockages with traditional traps without replacement or demolition is practically impossible.

Poliran Solution

The Gate Trap + Special Clamp, designed by Poliran’s Research & Development (R&D) team and registered with the Iranian Industrial Property Office, features a two-piece design with a removable bottom section. This allows for the clearing of even the most severe blockages. Thanks to its unique design and the polypropylene material used in its construction, it transmits minimal noise compared to other traps.

Special Applications

Hotels, hospitals, residential complexes, and similar facilities
